|A group of four logging trucks belonging to the Allen Logging Company near Hoquium, Washington taken in summer of 1972. The first two are LT Macks with water tanks, the others are older Peterbilt Loggers that appear to be used off-road judging by the exhaust stacks coming out through the hood.
I am looking for more photos of this companies equipment around this time and earlier if anyone has any.
|An "L" Mack tractor built by Peloso Heavy Hauling of Johnson, R. I. from an "NO" Mack military chassis, with a Buda Diesel engine, and a Mack "L" cab offset to the left side and home made military style flat fenders. Photo was taken in 1972.||An older Peterbilt logger somewhere in Northern California I believe, taken in 1958.|
|A Rio Grande Motorways Kenworth Tractor at Pueblo, Colorado taken in Fall of 1984.||A set of Rio Grande Motorways doubles in a company publicity photo, date unknown-must be mid 70's||A "home-built" wrecker mounted on a Mack LMSW chassis taken somewhere in Oregon in 1972.|
|Boston, Massachusetts Rescue Co. #1 1950's vintage "B" Mack Rescue taken "In service" in 1972.||A 1936 Ahrens-Fox Sedan Cab Pumper built for Pawtucket, Rhode Island and retired to reserve status in 1973 when this photo was taken at a fire apparatus parade for fire prevention. This truck was the only one like it ever built, not very well liked by drivers because of the extra long hood and front mounted pump.|
