1973 GMC 9500 still run by it's original owner, Roger Fouse. The GMC is seen here making local steel runs for Pittsburgh, Verona, and Oakmont Express in July 2001. When the truck was new Roger drove it over the road for Interstate and John F. Scott Co. He also drove for Lake Shore about 30 some years ago. Roger use to pull a tri-axle flatbed leased to Pitt-Ohio. He worked for them for about 15 years, until he went with Pittsburgh, Verona, Oakmont Express in 1995. He doesn't have the tri-axle trailer now. He has a 42 ft. flatbed and a 42 ft. covered wagon and he switches from one to the other.
